- Set up, maintain, and break down breakfast buffet and evening reception service areas
- Prepare and present food, snacks, beverages, and service stations according to hotel standards
- Serve complimentary cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages during evening reception hours in accordance with responsible alcohol service guidelines
- Monitor food and beverage levels and replenish items promptly throughout service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining, lounge, kitchen, and bar areas
- Clear tables, remove used dishes and glassware, and sanitize surfaces regularly
- Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout each shift
- Respond to guest requests, questions, and concerns professionally and promptly
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and liquor service regulations
- Restock supplies including utensils, condiments, napkins, and beverage inventory
- Operate kitchen and beverage equipment safely and properly
- Perform opening and closing duties including cleaning, organizing, and securing service areas
- Communicate maintenance concerns, inventory shortages, or guest issues to management
- Collaborate with front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance teams to ensure exceptional guest experiences
Qualifications:
- Previous hospitality, food service, bartending, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work both early morning and evening shifts as scheduled
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices preferred
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance with a positive and outgoing attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with buffet, breakfast, lounge, or bar service
- Bartending or beverage service experience
- Knowledge of hotel guest service standards
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
