Job Summary

The Senior Paid Media Manager is responsible for leading the strategy, planning, execution, optimization, and analysis of paid media campaigns across digital and traditional channels to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and membership growth. This role oversees national advertising initiatives while also supporting a portfolio of hyper-local gym campaigns through the company's in-house advertising agency. The Senior Paid Media Manager collaborates closely with cross-functional teams and franchise partners to develop integrated media strategies, maximize campaign performance, and ensure advertising investments deliver measurable business results.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated paid media strategies aligned with business objectives and marketing priorities.
  • Plan, launch, manage, and optimize paid media campaigns across digital and traditional advertising channels.
  • Build detailed media plans, allocate budgets, forecast campaign performance, and monitor spending to maximize return on investment.
  • Manage campaign setup, trafficking, quality assurance, and ongoing optimization to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Analyze campaign performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable recommendations to improve results.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and franchisees to support national and hyper-local advertising initiatives.
  • Present campaign insights, performance reports, and strategic recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Stay current on emerging media platforms, advertising technologies, and industry trends, identifying opportunities to test new channels and tactics.
  • Manage multiple advertising campaigns and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a hybrid work environment.
  • Collaborate with creative, marketing, and cross-functional teams to ensure campaign messaging and execution align with brand standards and business goals.

Requirements:

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five (5) or more years of hands-on experience planning, executing, and optimizing paid media campaigns, preferably within an agency or franchise environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-channel advertising campaigns with measurable business results.
  • Advanced proficiency with Google Ads, Meta (Facebook) Ads Manager, and Google Analytics.
  • Strong experience with media planning, budget management, channel selection, and campaign forecasting.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate business objectives into effective paid media strategies.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across departments.

Preferred

  • Experience within the fitness, wellness, or franchise industries.
  • Experience using Asana, Looker Studio, Google Tag Manager, and basic API integrations
