<li>Helps treat patients by preparing heat and ice packs; paraffin dips; assisting patients to the pool; guiding patients to exercise equipment, monitoring motion; tracking patient physical exertion levels; guiding patients through prescribed exercises and strengthening techniques.</li>
<li>Ensures operation of treatment equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instruction; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.</li>
<li>Educates patients by demonstrating proper use of equipment and exercise routines.</li>
<li>Prepares patients for therapy treatment by welcoming, comforting, providing, and/or assisting patients into therapy sessions.</li>
<li>Provides information to patients by answering questions and requests; allaying fears.</li>
<li>Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.</li>
<li>Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.</li>
<li>Provides equipment and supplies by sterilizing and delivering equipment and supplies to the treatment area; positioning equipment for therapist access; positioning patients on equipment.</li>
<li>Prepares treatment room for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols.</li>
<li>Answers calls from physician offices, hospitals, and patients using exemplary customer service skills.</li>
<li>Maintains physical therapy supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.</li>
<li>Provide front desk coverage as needed; this includes answering calls from physician offices, hospitals and patients, and assisting with scheduling.</li>

Duties Responsibilities
The Physical Therapist / PT is responsible for the assessment of referred patients that require rehabilitation services which includes; providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation. Also, the Physical Therapist / PT will establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician. As well, the Physical Therapist / PT must set realistic and achievable goals for their patients, document and record the patient's condition, and educate patients and families in an appropriate physical therapy method.
<ul>
<li>Develops a plan of care for each physical therapy patient.</li>
<li>Provides skilled physical therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders.</li>
<li>Assesses patient needs, plans for, evaluates and modifies care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions.</li>
<li>Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.</li>
