About What You’ll Work On:
Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a group of developmental disabilities that can cause significant social, communication, mental health and behavioral challenges.&nbsp;
Although autism can be diagnosed at any age, it is described as a “developmental disorder” because symptoms generally appear in the first 2 years of life. People with ASD may face a wide range of issues, which means that there is no single best treatment for ASD. Working closely with a health care provider like MeBe Family&nbsp; is an important part of finding the right combination of treatment and services. (Reference, National Institute of Mental Health)
As a Registered Behavior Technician,
<ul>
<li>
You'll teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting to kiddos with autism in their home or at MeBe’s Learning Center clinic
</li>
<li>
You’ll follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs that help increase the kiddo's communication, self-help, social and play skills.
</li>
<li>
You’ll relay info on your kiddos’ progress to BCBAs to keep them informed and assist with BCBA assessments.
</li>
<li>
At the end of each session, you’ll accurately record the kiddo’s behavior analysis and progress in our data collection system Central Reach using your work assigned tablet.
</li>
<li>
You’ll be responsible for clocking in, submitting your session notes and clocking out to align with strict ABA and Insurance provider regulations.
</li>
<li>
You’ll help keep our workplace shipshape, safe, and super organized.
</li>
<li>
You’ll help our kiddos with lunch breaks, bathroom breaks and diaper changing.
</li>
<li>
You’ll help with projects and tasks as directed by your Site Director and Clinical Supervisors.

You’ll voice questions, issues and concerns to your supervisors as appropriate and take co-ownership of treatment planning.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18-years-old with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

RBT certification is required. TRICARE certification is required.

Prefer a background in child care; teaching, counseling, babysitting.

Centralized Scheduling Department - ER Assumes responsibility and accountability for greeting collecting and processing all incoming patient information to gather the necessary demographic requirements in accordance with all regulations and hospital policies to provide care for the patients, procure reimbursement verification from third parties, and maintain records appropriately. Interacts with hospital administration, ancillary department directors and physicians/physician’s office staff to provide appropriate services to patients, families and other hospital departments. Has a willingness to be cross-trained and will float to other areas or departments if the need arises. Recognizes the signs and symptoms of stroke and calling a stroke alert overhead. Verbalizes stroke alert process. Assigns temporary identification of patient (ED only), completes full registration upon patient arrival to the ED.

Additional Skills &amp; Qualifications
High School or GED Diploma preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care facility or related environment preferred, but not necessary. Willingness to be cross-trained in other areas. (Admitting, Business Office, ER) Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail oriented and organizational skills required. Requires knowledge of requirements of various insurance companies and government regulations. Familiarity with HMO/PPO contracts beneficial Requires knowledge of clinical practices and medical terminology. Requires strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
