Main Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing
  • Perform patient evaluations by reviewing medical histories and assessing oral health
  • Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) following safety protocols
  • Educate patients on effective oral hygiene practices and preventive care
  • Recognize signs of oral diseases and relay findings to the dentist for diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Apply preventive treatments such as sealants and fluoride
  • Maintain precise and thorough patient records and documentation
  • Adhere to infection control measures and sterilization standards
  • Enhance patient experiences by delivering compassionate and professional care

Qualifications & Requirements

  • A degree or certificate in dental hygiene from an accredited institution and a valid state license
  • Current CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience
