Main Duties
- Conduct comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing
- Perform patient evaluations by reviewing medical histories and assessing oral health
- Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) following safety protocols
- Educate patients on effective oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Recognize signs of oral diseases and relay findings to the dentist for diagnosis and treatment planning
- Apply preventive treatments such as sealants and fluoride
- Maintain precise and thorough patient records and documentation
- Adhere to infection control measures and sterilization standards
- Enhance patient experiences by delivering compassionate and professional care
Qualifications & Requirements
- A degree or certificate in dental hygiene from an accredited institution and a valid state license
- Current CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience
