Position Summary
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to support our providers at our Woodley Park, DC clinic. This role involves a combination of administrative and clinical responsibilities to help ensure seamless patient care and efficient daily operations. The schedule for this position is Monday – Thursday 7:30 AM – 4:45 PM.
 
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Compile and maintain patient records, medical charts, and documentation </li>
<li>Schedule appointments for physical exams and chronic disease management </li>
<li>Process prior authorizations and referrals, and respond to inquiries from patients and providers </li>
<li>Track and link diagnostic imaging (DI) with provider orders </li>
<li>Confirm patient insurance for billable lab services </li>
<li>Take and document patient vitals, screenings, and health logs </li>
<li>Prepare, clean, and restock exam rooms </li>
<li>Operate equipment (EKG, X-ray, etc.) and assist with diagnostic testing </li>
<li>Administer injections and perform routine lab tests </li>
<li>Support PCMH and quality initiatives </li>
<li>Cover staff absences and assist team members as needed </li>
<li>Interpret instructions, communicate clearly, and solve routine problems </li>
</ul>
Physical Requirements
<ul>
<li>Frequently required to sit, communicate verbally, use hands for various tasks, and actively listen </li>
<li>Occasionally required to stand, walk, and lift/move up to 10 lbs. </li>

Required Qualifications

<li>2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant </li>
<li>Completion of a certified Medical Assistant training program </li>

Registered Behavior Technician job responsibilities include:

<li>Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training</li>
<li>Follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols as outlined in the client's individualized treatment plan built by BCBA/BC</li>
<li>Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior</li>

<li>Ensure documentation is completed on time and following established procedures</li>
<li>Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by BCBA/BC</li>
