Banyan Treatment Centers is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (RN) to provide clinical and operational leadership for nursing services within our inpatient behavioral health and substance use treatment program. <li>Ensure timely completion of nursing assessments, ongoing monitoring, and documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).</li>
<li>Oversee medication administration processes, medication error tracking, and remediation activities as needed.</li>
<li>Support nursing staff in delivering health education, patient monitoring, and medication self-administration supervision as ordered. </li>
</ul>
Compliance, Quality &amp; Accreditation 
<ul>
<li>Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, DEA requirements, and Joint Commission accreditation standards.</li>
<li>Participate in audits, chart reviews, and quality assurance activities to ensure documentation accuracy and regulatory readiness.</li>
<li>Lead Infection Control activities, including monthly reporting and performance improvement initiatives.</li>
<li>Represent the nursing department during regulatory surveys, state inspections, and Joint Commission audits. </li>
</ul>
Training, Development &amp; Collaboration 
<ul>
<li>Lead nursing orientations, competencies, ongoing education, and annual performance evaluations.</li>
<li>Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures in collaboration with Executive Leadership and Quality &amp; Compliance.</li>
<li>Promote effective communication and collaboration between nursing, clinical, medical, and ancillary departments.</li>
<li>Support a professional, respectful, and trauma-informed workplace culture. </li>

Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>An active unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania.</li>
<li>Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with ASN required; BSN or MSN preferred.</li>
<li>Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible nursing leadership and management experience, demonstrating increasing responsibility for staff supervision, operational oversight, performance management, and departmental outcomes.</li>
<li>Minimum of two (2) years of experience in behavioral health and/or mental healthcare settings, with substance use treatment experience strongly preferred.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of nursing standards of care for clients with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.</li>
<li>Demonstrated knowledge of accreditation standards, state and federal regulations, healthcare compliance requirements, and patient confidentiality laws. </li>
<li>Proven ability to lead, coach, and hold teams accountable in a regulated healthcare environment.</li>
<li>Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and documentation skills with a high attention to detail.</li>
<li>Ability to balance administrative responsibilities with clinical oversight in a fast-paced inpatient setting.</li>
