Role Overview
Join a high-volume vaccination initiative supporting community health. In this role, you’ll provide safe, compassionate patient care while administering a variety of vaccines (including flu, COVID, MMR, and more). PPE is provided.
- Title: Immunizing RN (Float) — Vaccination Initiative
- Location: 14201 Hickman Road Urbandale IA 50323
- Schedule: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri, Sat - 2:30pm-6:30pm (20hrs/week)
- Job Type: Temporary/Seasonal
- Anticipated Start: August 23, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Administer vaccines in accordance with clinical guidelines and standing orders
- Provide a positive patient experience by leading with empathy and compassion
- Maintain professionalism when interacting with patients and other healthcare professionals
- Adapt quickly in a dynamic, community-based healthcare environment
- Collaborate with on-site team members and contribute to a supportive team culture
- Use strong clinical skills, including medication administration and patient assessment
Required Qualifications
- Full, active, and unrestricted Pharmacist license in Iowa
- Immunization Certification through APhA
- Ability to work the set clinic hours (Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri, Sat - 2:30pm -6:30pm)
- Confirm you are not on the DEA Excluded Parties List
- Ability to work onsite in a patient-facing role
- BS Pharmacy or PharmD
Preferred Qualifications
- BLS certification (strongly preferred)
- 1+ year experience, including immunizations and providing quality patient care
