QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active RN license in the state of employment or compact license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a clinical setting
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Manage routine and complex care with a focus on long-term goals for patient outcomes
- Monitor and administer medications and treatments per protocol, observing for effectiveness and side effects
- Address complex psychological, emotional, and social needs of patients and their families
- Educate patients and caregivers based on assessed learning needs and available resources
- Make appropriate assignments and delegate tasks to support effective team-based care
- Accurately document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care delivered
