<li>Assess the health and developmental status of students through the performance of each student’s evaluation and health appraisals.</li>
<li>Provides clinical and/or administrative documentation in Electronic Health Records for all services provided, as required.</li>

<li>Maintains accurate, complete, and correct health and administrative records as required by law, agency policy, and/or administrative regulations.</li>

MINIMUM MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:
 
Education:

<li>Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Nursing, or Diploma in Practical Nursing, from an accredited nursing program (CCNE/ACEN), or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.</li>
<li>Current and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of New Mexico or multi-state license privilege as provided in the Nurse Licensure Compact.</li>

Experience:

El Centro Family Health is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (Registered Nurse preferred), dedicated to serving the needs of our community.

<li>Knowledge and fluent skills of Microsoft Office Excel and Word applications, internet explorer usage, and Outlook.</li>

Responsibilities
The Licensed Practical Nurse provides skilled nursing services for patients of El Centro Family Health, within the limitations and guidelines of the New Mexico State Nurse Practice Act. 
The Medical Assistant provides patient care and other related clinical, laboratory, technical and support to Physicians, Midlevel Practitioner, and Lead Nurse to provide direct patient care following El Centro Family Health Care Policy and Procedures. May be required to travel to perform work assignments at any ECFH Medical Clinic.
The Registered Nurse assures successful delivery of quality patient care for patients of El Centro family Health within limitations and guidelines of the New Mexico State Nurse Practice Act.
 
EDUCATION: RN and LPN-Completion of an accredited course of study in registered nursing or licensed practical nursing. Medical Assistant - High school diploma or GED.
LICENSURE: Current New Mexico RN and LPN Licensure. Medical Assistant I - None. 
EXPERIENCE: RN and LPN- Minimum of one-year experience working in the health care field preferably in a clinical setting. Medical Assistant I- None
CERTIFICATION: RN and LPN-Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). 
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: TST Screening, Hep B Vaccine or Waiver, Background Check, Current Driver's License and Proof of Automobile insurance.
