Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to an engaging elementary caseload in a vibrant school community. This full-time, contract opportunity focuses on supporting young learners in their communication and language development. Help students reach their personal best while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a school setting near Fort Mohave, AZ.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP license in Arizona, or ability to obtain before starting
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY considered
  • Prior experience working with elementary-aged children strongly desired
  • Expertise in both assessment and developmentally appropriate intervention strategies
  • Strong communication skills, with a commitment to consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists
  • Comfortable maintaining thorough documentation and progress monitoring as required in school settings

Responsibilities

  • Provide evaluations, diagnoses, and individualized therapy to elementary school students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to support academic and social success
  • Deliver both group and one-on-one therapy sessions tailored to student needs
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare required reports
  • Consult with families, offering guidance and resources to promote consistent language growth at home
  • Remain current with best practices and legal requirements in school-based speech and language services
