Essential Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide vital support by assisting residents with their medication management in a supportive, safe, and effective manner while ensuring compliance with all health regulations and standards. This role is crucial in promoting optimal health outcomes for our residents.

<li>Administer prescribed medications to residents as per physician's orders and in accordance with agency policies and procedures</li>
<li>Monitor residents for any side effects or adverse reactions to medications and report concerns to nursing staff.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all medications administered, including dosages and timing.</li>
<li>Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for all residents.</li>
<li>Ensure the cleanliness and proper functioning of medication storage areas.</li>
<li>Uphold the highest standards of safety, confidentiality, and professionalism in all interactions.</li>
<li>Participate in training and professional development activities as required.</li>
<li>Observe and report any changes in residents' conditions to the healthcare team.</li>
<li>Be available to assist residents with activities of daily living, as needed</li>

Requirements
<ul>
<li>Kansas Certification as a Medication Technician/Aide</li>
<li>Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to senior care.</li>
<li>Ability to observe and monitor resident conditions effectively.</li>
<li>Knowledge of dementia care practices is a plus.</li>
<li>Basic understanding of medication interactions/side effects and vital sign monitoring is beneficial.</li>
<li>CPR and First Aid Certified (or willingness to obtain).</li>

Soliant is seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in the Kansas City metro area. This Level I trauma environment requires a strong, confident scrub and circulate RN who is fortable supporting plex cardiac procedures.
