Job Description

International Health and Medical Services is looking for an experienced Behavioral Health Specialists to assess, diagnose, and treat mental health disorders among patients, ensuring they receive appropriate psychiatric care and support. This role includes collaborating with the healthcare team to implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and provide crisis intervention as needed, fostering mental health and well-being within the facility.
Key Responsibilities

<li>Provides direct psychiatric care to patients via onsite and telepsychiatry services for scheduled appointments, emergency, or urgent care visit.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Consults with the Psychiatrist and/or Clinical Director for complex psychiatric patients and as required by client policy.&nbsp;</li>

Qualifications 
Basic Requirements/Certifications:&nbsp;&nbsp;

<li>Mental Health Providers consist of Clinical Psychologists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors/Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors/Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors (LPC/LPCC/LCPC/LMHC/LCMHC) or equivalent.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Must maintain appropriate licensure to conduct mental health evaluation, mental health and substance abuse treatment (i.e. psychotherapy – individual or group; clinical counseling, etc.), mental health diagnosis, segregation monitoring, SMI, monitoring, and assessing suicidality/homicidality risk, and suicide watch contacts.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Must have a minimum of 6 months of full-time experience in behavioral health in direct patient care or the express approval of client Chief Psychiatrist.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Preferred 3-5 years of full-time experience in direct patient care.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Knowledge of training methods and sufficient interpersonal skills to develop a rapport with patients and co-workers when instructional and educational information is presented.&nbsp;</li>

 We are growing and adding new physicians! Urological Associates of Savannah, PC is seeking a Georgia-licensed LPN for our Savannah location. LPN will work in the clinical area. No travel and no weekends. General Summary of Duties: Responsible for providing professional nursing care for patients under the supervision of the Clinical Nurse Manager and Physicians by following established standards and practices. Assists Physicians and staff in coordinating patient care. Utilize the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation, and work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team. As an Oral Surgery LPN, you will assist with pre-surgical care and education, vital tasks during surgeries, and post-surgical care. 4 day work week and No Saturdays or evenings! Part-time or Full-time position available.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:

Assists with patient evaluations: * Takes and records patient vital signs
</li>
<li>
Accurately documents patient past medical/dental history, reason for visit, and patient encounter
</li>
<li>
Accurately creates and records treatment plans; initiates predetermination of benefits
</li>
<li>
Assists with surgical procedures: * Takes and records patient vital signs
</li>
<li>
Verifies procedures, accurately generates and completes appropriate forms such as consent, opioid, bisphosphonate, and dental warranty forms
</li>
<li>
Assists with sedation processes such as attaching monitors, N20 administration, and IV administration
</li>
<li>
Performs clinical duties such as passing instruments, suctioning, retracting, and cutting suture
</li>
<li>
Accurately documents surgical encounter
</li>
<li>
Documents and scans out implantable devices
</li>
<li>
Performs recovery duties with patient and caregivers. Monitors patient progress, provides education and discharge instructions to patient caregivers, discontinues IVs, discharges patients per criteria
</li>
<li>
Takes and processes digital x-rays and CT scans as required
</li>
<li>
Prepares diagnostic models
</li>
<li>
Accurately documents medications prescribed by COMS physicians
</li>
<li>
Coordinates tissue transfers to pathology lab for analysis
</li>
<li>
Initiates patient medical clearance processes ordered by COMS physicians
</li>
<li>
Cleans operatories and equipment as required for efficient workflow
</li>
<li>
Prepares operatories and trays as needed
</li>
<li>
Cleans and sterilize instruments as needed
</li>
<li>
Checks for clinical phone messages, returns patient calls and manages and documents patient concerns
</li>
<li>
Accurately schedules patient appointments
</li>
<li>
Places patients on appropriate follow-up and/or task lists
</li>
<li>
Stocks operatories, including scanning out supplies
</li>
<li>
Performs daily checklist duties such as equipment checks, cleaning, equipment turn-on/turn-off, and medication/supply management
</li>
<li>
Participates in training new oral surgery assistants as requested
</li>

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

High school education or equivalent
</li>

Current CPR/BLS certification

Current State of Georgia X-Ray license

One year related experience in a dental environment
</li>
<li>
A dental assisting certificate from an accredited school is strongly preferred

Mon-Fri; no weekends or evening shifts
Responsible for providing professional nursing care to clinic patients under the direction/delegation of Physician under the general policies and procedures established by SouthCoast Health. Will participate in providing health promotion, health maintenance and management of illnesses for patients. Provides care as allowed within the scope of the Georgia Licensed Practical Nurses Board.

Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

<li>Coordinates patient care by triaging patient phone calls regarding urgency of appointments, and scheduling hospital admissions. Processes all patient referrals and required follow through. Maintains and keeps updated referral report.</li>
<li>Schedules lab work, specialist visits, completes necessary paperwork to ensuring proper billing, completes physician orders. Verify and update patient data. Assists patients with completion of paperwork, as required.</li>
<li>Assists with patient inquiries/concerns regarding medical care, medication instructions and prescription call-ins in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner.</li>
<li>Assist with patient plans of care and document care coordination and interventions while integrating quality initiative measurements and other accrediting body requirements in order to demonstrate results and show quality improvement in patients.</li>
<li>Coordinates care with hospital, home health services, hospice or other institutional settings per providers order.</li>
<li>Administers immunizations and injections after reviewing immunization record, potential allergic reactions, identifies and reviews side effects and treatments. Perform venipunctures, capillary punctures, specimen collection/preparation/testing and other lab functions as requested.</li>
</ul>
Education/ Experience:&nbsp;Graduate of an accredited school of practical/vocational nursing program. Minimum of one year clinical experience, preferably in a hospital or office practice setting.
