Qualifications:
- Active New Mexico (NMRLD) Physical Therapy license required by start date
- New Mexico Public Education Department licensure (NMPED) or in pending status
- Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred, but strong new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students, ensuring individualized care for student success
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with IEP teams
- Evaluate students to determine eligibility and needs for PT services
- Maintain thorough, timely records and progress reports
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to promote student access to learning
- Contribute to multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings
