 Essential Responsibilities:

<li>Performs and documents equipment QC according to dept protocol: recognizes and reports any malfunction or variation to the mammography manager, maintenance or bio-med. Audits processing sensitometry records and other equipment/accessory QC data for compliance with policy and trends/problem identification.</li>
 
<li>Provides practical instruction for student and other mammographers while demonstrating effective communicating and conflict resolution.</li>
 
<li>Maintains a working knowledge of departmental standard operating procedures to include the use of specialized instrumentation, quality control requirements, and preventative maintenance.</li>
 
<li>Assesses medical and related equipment problems, taking appropriate corrective action when needed, including requesting repairs from outside entities.</li>
 
<li>Participates in the continuous quality improvement process.</li>
 
<li>Schedule mammographic procedures.</li>

 Job Summary: Provide nursing care to a defined group of patients, adhering to Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington ambulatory Nursing Care Standards, the Nursing Code of Ethics and Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington policies.  As an Assistant Clinical Director, you will maintain a caseload of learners, while supporting the Clinical Director (CD) with daily tasks in the clinic. The ACD will stand in for the CD while they are out on PTO, maternity leave, or other scheduled appointments, so staff have an individual to report to for operational and clinical needs. The ACD will learn and be trained on center-specific responsibilities over time to develop skills to become a CD in the future.

Position Summary: The Clinical Supervisor oversees, leads, and develops staff and manages daily operations within the service area, through effective leadership, communication, organization, and planning.
