Key Accountabilities:

<li>Ensures optimal technical quality and accuracy of all mammographic examinations according to MQSA (Mammography Quality Standards Act), the American College of Radiology (ACR), and FDA quality control requirements.</li>
<li>Accurately inputs data into the RIS by tracking procedure performed as well as data required in order to capture exam and supply charges, resource allocation and other relevant information. Transfers correctly annotated images into PACS. </li>
<li>Develops and evaluates images for technical quality such as density contrast, definition, and distortion.</li>
<li>Obtains all relevant patient information, and assesses physician's order and/or requisition for completeness by reviewing the clinical information, pertinent laboratory results and patient's chart to ensure the correct procedure is performed and proper patient preparation is administered on the correct patient. As well as educates and assists patients in hereditary cancer risk assessment testing.</li>

As a Correctional LPN, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in a Correctional Center/Facility located in Groesbeck, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for compassionate nurses who are passionate about delivering high-quality healthcare. Position: Correctional Nurse -LPN Location: Limestone County, Groesbeck, TX Schedule: 8 Week Contract- 7P-7A &amp; 7A-7p Starting Pay: $38 an hour with per diem What You'll Do: As a Correctional Nurse, you'll be at the forefront of compassionate care in a correctional center. Your daily tasks will include but are not limited to the following:

<li>Apply appropriate nursing skills in the area and treatment of inmates/residents.</li>
<li>Attend sick calls with the physician to see inmates/residents; prepare a list of inmates/residents to be examined; prepare examining room and equipment.</li>
<li>Examine and assess new inmates/residents with illnesses or injuries or inmates/residents who become ill or injured; refer inmates/residents to the emergency room or other appropriate healthcare facilities as required by their condition.</li>
<li>Monitor, as directed, inmate/resident inpatient hospitalizations for early releases whenever appropriate</li>
<li>Operate pill calls, dispense medication, and document as required by applicable policies and/or procedures</li>
<li>Regularly evaluate the provision of medical services to prevent the inappropriate use or duplication of those services</li>
<li>Perform emergency procedures as needed and notify Licensed Independent Providers for treatment orders.</li>
<li>Provide guidance, supervise, and monitor nursing care provided by licensed vocational/practical nursing staff and non-licensed medical staff.</li>

Requirements:
