In this role, you will apply the nursing process to deliver exceptional patient care. You will hold professional accountability for the care provided to your assigned patients and assess the overall effectiveness of care delivered by other caregivers. Collaboration with various departments to coordinate patient care is essential. Upholding patient rights and ensuring the confidentiality of patient information are key responsibilities. Qualifications:
Education: Completion of an accredited registered professional nursing program is required.
Licensure: You must obtain and maintain a current RN license in the state of employment or hold a compact license, fulfilling all state board of nursing requirements.
Physical Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Ability to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds regularly.</li>
<li>Prolonged standing and walking are necessary during each shift.</li>
<li>Capability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform job functions.</li>
</ul>
Experience:
Preferred candidates will have perioperative experience, with at least two years of RN experience being ideal.
Certifications:
<ul>
<li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or completion of the course within 30 days of hire.</li>
<li>Additional certifications may be required based on the specific position or unit, including:</li>

<li>ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)</li>
<li>NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)</li>
<li>ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)</li>
<li>TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)</li>
<li>CPHON (Certified Pediatric/Hematology/Oncology Nurse)</li>
<li>OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)</li>
<li>PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)</li>
<li>PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)</li>
<li>S.T.A.B.L.E. (Six Assessment &amp; Care Modules)</li>
<li>C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification)</li>
<li>Other unit-specific certifications as needed.</li>
</ul>
