Job Summary and QualificationsThe Cardiovascular Nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures of Las Palmas/Del Sol Medical Center and the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners. The Cardiovascular Nurse will supervise and provide feedback to the Director regarding patient care and is a clinical role model. Job Summary and Qualifications 
JOB SUMMARY (Primary purpose of the position.)&nbsp;
 
Will utilize the nursing process to independently deliver nursing care to patients in order to achieve quality outcomes and communicate the need for guidance/supervision based on self-assessment of strengths and limitations.&nbsp;Promotes a positive image of nursing and promotes collegiality among healthcare team members.&nbsp;&nbsp;Market Float Pool RNs are scheduled in accordance with the Staffing and Scheduling- Nursing, RN Floating - Healthy Workplace Environment (HWE) and Attendance policies.&nbsp;Requirements of RN unit-based, facility-based, or system-based pools are based on which pool they are in.&nbsp;&nbsp;
 
Resource and Non-RN Resource Pool RNs are required to work the following:&nbsp;&nbsp;

 Full Time: Minimum of 36 hours per week. 4-weekend shifts per scheduling cycle (28 days)&nbsp;&nbsp;

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. What you will do in this role:

<li>Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology.</li>
