Job Summary

Duties and Responsibilities

<li>Consult with patients or their legal representatives about prescriptions, either before or after dispensing, or provide information regarding any medical details in the patient's medication record system.</li>
<li>Identify, evaluate, and interpret prescriptions accurately.</li>
<li>Ensure optimal medication prescribing in terms of indication, dosage, route, frequency, allergy history, and avoid duplication or interactions with other medications.</li>
<li>Assist in the transfer of prescriptions between pharmacies, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to legal requirements.</li>
<li>Participate in pharmacy-related tasks and programs, including supporting short-staffed areas and other necessary duties as directed.</li>
<li>Assist in making timely changes to meet regulatory, accreditation, licensing, and government agency standards and laws.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>
