POSITION SUMMARY

Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Provide one-on-one treatment</li>
<li>Plan, prepare and carry out individually designed programs of occupational treatment to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain and prevent occupational dysfunction in patients.</li>
<li>Custom Splint Fabrication for Patients</li>
<li>Perform and document an initial exam, evaluating the data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention.</li>
<li>Develop and guide plans of care which encourage compliance and produce the best results for your patients.</li>
<li>Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit.</li>
<li>Must be willing to treat all ages and have sensory integration experience.</li>

Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Occupational Therapist Program Graduate.</li>
<li>NY Occupational Therapy License or eligible.</li>
<li>Minimum 1-2 years of practicing OT experience.</li>
<li>Certifications Required: CPR/First Aid</li>

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to assist with the delivery of physical therapy treatment interventions and services directly and indirectly, as outlined by an established treatment plan and in accordance with state practice guidelines. This position provides patient care to primarily adult and geriatric patients. 
Essential Key Job Responsibilities:

<li>Provides therapeutic treatment in accordance with the patients’ established plan of care with a focus on functional and measurable outcomes. </li>
<li>Monitor patients' progress and report any changes to the Physical Therapist.</li>
<li>Participates in training programs for community staff, patients, families, and rehabilitation staff.</li>
<li>Assists Physical Therapist in establishing restorative nursing programs, as necessary, along with restorative nursing department efforts to provide appropriate comprehensive care to patients. </li>
<li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.</li>

Requirements:
