<li> Engage in medical and behavioral emergency codes as required. </li>
<li> Complete incident reports and participate in investigations and improvement recommendations. </li>
<li> Educate and mentor fellows, residents, and medical students in addiction services, preparing didactic presentations as necessary. </li>
<li> Assist in orienting new physicians and staff within addiction services. </li>
<li> Follow clinical standards as outlined by relevant policies and ensure timely and accurate documentation of visits. </li>
<li> Support medical leadership in Quality Assurance and Process Improvement initiatives as needed. </li>
<li> Provide coverage for other physicians in addiction services when necessary. </li>

 Qualifications

<ul>
<li> Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry. </li>
<li> Subspecialty Board Certification in Addiction Medicine (ABAM) or Addiction Psychiatry (AAAP) (current or expected within four years). </li>
<li> Valid medical license to practice in New York State. </li>
<li> Active DEA Registration, including a waiver to prescribe buprenorphine (current or expected within six months). </li>
<li> Minimum of one year of education, training, or experience in substance use disorder services. </li>
</ul>
 Compensation and Benefits: 
 The annual base salary is set at $267,900* for board-eligible candidates and $278,200* for board-certified candidates, based on a 40-hour work week. Additional compensation may be available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours. 
 The estimated total annual compensation package is approximately $438,690** for board-eligible and $450,020** for board-certified candidates, which includes the base salary, 401(k) contributions, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors outlined below:

<li> Estimated annual earnings for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked weekly is $104,000***. </li>
<li> Potential bonuses of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s averages), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity benchmarks. </li>

<li> Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings, with no employee match required. </li>
<li> After one year of service, an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings is provided, with no employee match required. </li>
