<li>Maintains a sterile field throughout surgical procedures and adheres to infection control protocols and sterile technique </li>
<li>Anticipates the needs of the surgical team, providing instruments, supplies, and support promptly to maintain efficient workflow </li>
<li>Monitors the patient's condition during surgery, documenting significant changes and notifying the surgeon </li>
<li>Handles surgical instruments and supplies, ensuring their proper use, sterilization, and disposal according to facility protocols </li>
<li>Manages specimen collection, labeling, and transport according to facility protocols, ensuring accurate diagnostic results </li>
<li>Documents all aspects of patient care in the perioperative setting accurately and thoroughly </li>
<li>Participates in patient handoff communication during pre- and post-operative phases, ensuring continuity of care </li>
<li>Assists in cleaning and restocking the operating room between cases, adhering to infection control and turnover protocols </li>
<li>Collaborates with the surgical team to ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and standards </li>

Seeking Urgent Care Medical Staff&nbsp;
ExpressCare Urgent Care Centers, a LifeBridge Health Partner, are growing and need experienced providers for our Carroll County, Maryland locations.
We are looking for a Physician Assistant.&nbsp;
We currently have 32 locations and are opening more this upcoming year.
Urgent Care medicine is our focus. &nbsp;We see a wide range of non-emergent medical conditions, treat minor trauma, and perform minor procedures.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
<ul>
<li>Must be able to see and treat patients of all ages.</li>
<li>Must be able to perform minor procedures, such as: suturing, I &amp; D of abscesses and Paronychia’s, Foreign Body removal.</li>
<li>Must be familiar with management of minor fractures and dislocations.</li>
<li>Should be able to perform basic EKG and X-ray interpretation.</li>
<li>Should be able to multi-task and manage time well.</li>
<li>Urgent Care, Family Practice or Emergency Medicine experience preferred.</li>
