THE GIST OF THE ROLE
As the Media Technician, you'll be in charge of creating the lifeblood of our lab: the Media. Under the guidance of our Lab Supervisor, you'll:

<li>Prepare and sterilize culture media using aseptic techniques</li>
<li>Keep media organized, properly labeled, and rotated with integrity (because expired agar is not it)</li>
<li>Maintain detailed records to stay in compliance with GLP, ISO 17025, and other fun acronyms</li>
<li>Prepare reports and summarize data using Excel, instrument software and LIMS while following GDP like the data guardian you are</li>
<li>Autoclave waste, clean and sterilize labware, and maintain the cleanliness of the lab (Marie Kondo would nod in approval) </li>
<li>Execute projects and any additional duties as assigned</li>

POSITION &amp; SCHEDULE
This is a Full-Time M-F, 8:00AM –5:00PM, Onsite position at Nova Biologicals in Conroe, TX. Occasional Weekends and OT Eligible.
TO THRIVE AS THE MEDIA TECHNICIAN
The ideal candidate will be authorized to work in the United States indefinitely, without restriction or sponsorship; a BS in Food Science, Microbiology, Biology or related science field is preferred, and possess good working knowledge of laboratory terminology.
