JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for completing intake requirements for incoming Rimrock Outpatient, Inpatient and Residential SUD clients. Assure adherence to state statutes and rules, CARF standards, and federal regulations including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2, and Rimrock’s policies and procedures. Positively represents the organization and promotes Rimrock’s mission to the community.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

<li>Coordinates incoming referrals </li>
<li>Works with business office to financially clear client for services. </li>
<li>Schedules client appointments (in-person and telehealth). </li>
<li>Completes and updates all necessary paperwork, such as demographics, program orientation, consents, needed for client to enroll in services. Maintains updated client file, scans documents into EHR as needed. </li>
<li>Maintains program-specific records including treatment/recovery plans, assessments, transition/discharge plans, and progress notes according to Rimrock policies, CARF, and state standards. Completes and updates documentation within designated amount of time, per program guidelines.</li>
<li>Sends referrals and completes warm hand off to wrap around services within Rimrock. </li>
<li>Completes collaterals and provides information about family week to client families. </li>
<li>Effectively communicate written and verbally to treatment team members, clients, and outside agencies.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of program specific practices; participates in continuing education and ongoing training. Attend all scheduled staff meetings and in-services, completing 10-hours of continuing education per year. </li>
<li>Conducts educational groups and lectures as assigned. </li>
<li>Completes all other duties as assigned. </li>

EDUCATION/TRAINING: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service or Social Work field required, a combination of equivalent experience will be considered in leu of education requirements. Minimum of one year of experience working in the Mental Health or SUD field preferred. 
 
SKILLS: Ability to plan, organize work and identify needed resources for clients and linking clients to resources, record keeping, speaking, writing, marketing and public relations skills and computer and word processing ability and counseling skills for this population.
 
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is indoors in an office environment with moderate noise. Intermittent physical effort involving lifting of up to 25 pounds, walking and stooping is required. A typical workday involves sitting, frequent use of a keyboard, reaching with hands and arms, and talking and hearing, approximately 70% of the time. Approximately 30% or less of the time is spent standing. Normal vision abilities required, including close vision and ability to adjust focus. 
 
WORK ENVIRONMENT/JOB LOCATIONS: Involves everyday risks or discomforts, requiring normal safety precautions in an office setting, patient care areas, sub-acute medical care area and personal or company patient transport vehicle. Some outdoor exposure when supervising patients outdoors and in recreation programming. May involve working with the client in the community or in their homes.

Job Description
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. 
A K-12 school in O'Fallon, MO is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide specialized support for student development throughout the school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with students in a supportive educational environment, helping to enhance their physical, sensory, and cognitive skills necessary for academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Administer therapeutic interventions tailored to individual student needs, focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive techniques.</li>
<li>Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).</li>
<li>Conduct evaluations and assessments to guide treatment plans and track student progress.</li>
<li>Provide training and support to school staff and families to promote consistent strategies across settings.</li>
<li>Maintain detailed documentation of services rendered and student outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.</li>
</ul>
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
<ul>
<li>Valid Occupational Therapy license and credentials.</li>
<li>Experience working in K-12 educational settings, preferably within public schools.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy techniques and school-based therapy standards.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively advocate for student needs.</li>
<li>Ability to manage caseloads independently and prioritize interventions.</li>
