We are looking for an LPN to support our Clearpath Program, an Opioid Treatment Program. Clearpath is the only Opioid Treatment Program in Northeast Minnesota.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality nursing care to patients dealing with opioid addiction. Summary:
Under the supervision of the Treatment Director, Lead Nurse, &amp; Assistant Medical Director, this individual will administer prescribed medication and nursing care utilizing the nursing processes according to protocols established by the Assistant Medical Director and Treatment Director. Implement plans of care and evaluate the response to care given. Refer patients with medical needs not provided by the facility to appropriate levels of care.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Assess, plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate medical and nursing care of all patients.</li>
<li>Explain procedures and treatments to patients to gain cooperation understanding and to alleviate apprehension.</li>
<li>Refer patients to other team members when needs are beyond the scope of practical nursing.</li>
<li>Order necessary medical supplies.</li>
<li>Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with Assistant Medical Director instruction and approved nursing standards and recording dosages.</li>
<li>Coordinate referrals for patients and follow up on medical referrals.</li>
<li>Respond to life-threating situations based on nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocols.</li>
<li>Provide health education to patients.</li>
<li>Document clearly and completely services provided, patient response and any changes noted.</li>
<li>Document patient history and biopsychosocial status. Document care provided and maintain patient medical records; complete and ensure required forms are completed accurately and completely.</li>
<li>Maintain knowledge of and compliance of applicable federal and state regulations and laws, as well as policies and procedures regarding medication dispensing and narcotic treatment in an Opiate Treatment Program (OTP).</li>
<li>Maintain a sight and count inventory of the methadone supply daily.</li>
<li>Schedule and screen patients to be seen by the Assistant Medical Director.</li>
<li>Assist the Assistant Medical Director with history and physicals and intakes as required.</li>
<li>Receive medical orders and ensure they are documented and understood by other staff.</li>
<li>Maintain absolute control and tracking of all medical paperwork involving patient does changes, lab results, medical provider orders, phase/level changes, and verbal orders.</li>
<li>Participate in regular nursing meetings and trainings.</li>
</ul>
Required Experience:
<ul>
<li>This individual must have a certificate in nursing from a college or technical school.</li>
<li>Must have a current License for Practical Nursing certified by the MN Board of Nursing</li>
<li>Must have training in co-occurring disorders.</li>
<li>Must be CPR and First Aid certified or obtain it before direct patient contact.</li>
<li>Must pass background studies issued by the Minnesota Department of Human Services.</li>
</ul>
Preferred Experience:
<ul>
<li>Prior experience working in a behavioral health setting
<ul>
<li>Substance Use Disorder Treatment setting is a bonus.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Experience with Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD)</li>
<li>Experience working in Opioid Treatment Program (OTP)</li>

Hours: This position is designated 5:30am-1:30pm Monday through Friday. Once a month, Saturday rotation. NO MANDATES!

Part Time Specimen Collector II 
Location: Duluth, MN
Schedule: Part-Time | Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 11:00am to 7:00pm (25 hours/week)

The Specimen Collector II is a key role at Millennium Health. As our representative, this position provides exemplary care and exceptional customer service to patients, clinicians, and our laboratory. 

As a Specimen Collector II: 
<ul>
<li>Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid (saliva) specimens </li>
<li>Process and package collections for shipping </li>
<li>Serve as an intermediary between the practice / clinic and the laboratory </li>
<li>Record patient information, physician order details, and pertinent laboratory information </li>
<li>Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in ordering portal </li>
<li>Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite </li>
<li>Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens (when applicable) </li>
<li>Driving from/to multiple facilities may be required and occasional overnight coverage. </li>
</ul>
Requirements
Ideal Candidate: 
<ul>
<li>6+ months of experience as a specimen collector or 1+ years of experience in the medical field, directly supporting patients preferred </li>
<li>2+ years of customer service experience can be considered in place of medical experience </li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to navigate a smart phone and computer required </li>
<li>Valid driver’s license required; reliable transportation</li>
<li>Medical insurance/billing and/or familiarity with medications/diagnostic codes is a plus </li>
<li>Ability to ensure HIPAA, HiTrust, Confidentiality and Compliance policy, procedures, and standards are always adhered to. </li>
<li>Ability to ensure administrative, physical and technical cyber security controls are always adhered to </li>
<li>High School diploma or equivalent required </li>
<li>Physical requirements: sitting 60%, walking 20%, standing 20%, lifting up to 20 lbs. </li>
