Job Summary: The Intake Coordinator is the first line of communication with new clients. Duties/Responsibilities: • Makes initial phone contact with the client, verifies information, send out welcome letters and any additional documents required. • Process all mass tort and product liability cases, including new cases. • Search for liens (hospital, Medicaid/care, child support, etc.)
• Effectively manage case load, e-mails, etc. • Answer phones on an overflow or substitute basis as needed, call clients, provide timely updates. • Records invoices (Date stamp all invoices, enter into Filevine with provider’s names and amounts, put invoices in alphabetical order and then give to accountant for processing. • Prepare cut loose letters as requested/needed including certified mail, regular mail, etc.). • Manage all Medicare and Medicaid requests to include sending out Proofs of Rep to clients. • Send out correspondence letters for attorneys as needed. • Work closely with attorneys and paralegals to ensure the proper information is obtained to move the case forward. • Performs other related duties as assigned.
