Institutional &amp; Specialty Sales Consultant - CVR (Richmond, VA-North)&nbsp;
The Institutional and Specialty Sales (ISS) team is being established to lead and drive launch activities for indications within the CVR portfolio. Responsibilities include driving demand, clinical education and sales by developing, coordinating, and implementing a strategic business plan for top priority Institutions (i.e., Hospitals and Health Systems), Cardiologists and Nephrologists both in the Institutional and Community settings. The ISS reports to the CVR Area General Manager (AGM) and will be an integral part of the Area Customer Squad, collaborating closely with Marketing, Market Access, Patient Services, and other internal partners, as appropriate, to drive the US Pharma outcomes.
The span of coverage will be within the following metropolitan areas: Charlottesville, Richmond, Fredericksburg, Harrisonburg, VA.&nbsp; Travel up to 50% within the territory. The position is residence based and candidate must be domiciled within the territory.&nbsp;&nbsp;
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;
The primary responsibilities of the Institutional and Specialty Sales Consultant are to:

<li>Drive clinical demand, education and sales, building deep understanding of disease state, unmet needs and treatment options to effectively educate healthcare professionals and business stakeholders on the unique benefits of assigned products while balancing both efficacy and safety through detailing of approved clinical information for community-based healthcare professionals and health systems;</li>
<li>Build institutional advocacy to drive formulary/pathway/protocol adoption of cardiovascular-renal brand(s) to drive appropriate pull-through of approved products;</li>
<li>Develop, co-create with external and internal stakeholders and implement strategic business plans for identified top strategic Institutions with an in-depth understanding of local market dynamics that influence product sales;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Demonstrate expertise and knowledge of disease state, the marketplace, competitors, industry, and cross-functional activities/plans as well as possess analytical rigor to anticipate and identify business opportunities and challenges;</li>
<li>Build key business relationships within prioritized customers in the community and including key stakeholders at the Institutions (i.e., C and D Suite and Head of Pharmacy, Head of Quality), Cardiologists and Nephrologists;</li>
<li>Manage the P&amp;T committee processes at the priority Institutions;</li>
<li>Collaborate with the cross functional and Area Customer Squads to develop and pull through the strategic partnerships with key customers;</li>
<li>Provide support to Area General Managers in strategic projects, as needed;</li>
<li>Leverage and embrace emerging technologies to enhance performance, while continuously striving to improve your proficiency;</li>
<li>Understand and comply with pharmaceutical industry guidelines and regulations and apply high ethical standard in day-to-day work.</li>

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

<li>Bachelor's degree;</li>
<li>Deep expertise and understanding of the cardiovascular and/or renal therapeutic area(s);</li>
<li>Experience launching new products and product indications;</li>

Shift Structure
<ul>
<li>Rounding time is 7AM-1PM local time, during which the provider must be available to nursing staff and address acute/emergent issues that arise. </li>
<li>Shifts begin around 7AM local time with flexibility within reason.</li>
<li>Shifts are daily Monday-Friday </li>
<li>Charting/documentation can be completed off-site. </li>
<li>This is an in-person position. </li>

Job DescriptionPosition Summary: Provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in client homes throughout the DC area. Runs goals created by a certified behavior analyst and teaches skills related to language acquisition, behavior, social skills, and daily living skills. <li>Conduct ABA sessions with primarily Autistic clients in-home, in schools, and community for clients between the ages of 2 and 26.</li>
<li>Implement written interventions with individual, specific goals written by the BCBA (examples might include toileting, behavior management, one step directions, asserting “no”).</li>
<li>Collect plus/minus data on correct answers and write simple session summaries at every session.</li>
<li>Communicate with and coach family members and home service providers on the implementation of behavioral interventions and goals directed by the BCBA.</li>
<li>Provide emergency response and crisis intervention as needed.</li>
<li>Administrative duties may include creating content, online training, making materials, and other tasks as assigned.</li>

Availability Requirements:

<li>Available from 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm every 8 weeks on a Tuesday for the Team Meeting</li>

Education and Experience:

<li>High school diploma required.</li>
<li>RBT Certification preferred</li>
<li>1 year experience working in ABA preferred</li>

Language Skills:

<li>Must speak and understand English.</li>

Physical requirements:

<li>Must be able to sit and stand up from the floor.</li>
<li>Must be able to run after a client.</li>

What is ABA?:&nbsp; ABA is a type of therapy that uses observable and measurable methods to teach skills. We break down skills into small steps and teach them one by one. We work under the model that behavior is motivated by escape, access, attention, or self stimulation, and we track the consequence history to determine how we will reward the behaviors we are teaching with that motivation in mind so the child can get their need met. Each goal is written clearly and appears on a tablet and the therapist runs it and marks plus or minus in an app. A therapist may run 60 small goals a session. Our company works hand in hand with the client to ensure we aren't manipulating them, but instead supporting them in their growth.
