Our organization is on the lookout for a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in hand, shoulder, and upper extremity procedures. In this role, you will focus on diagnosing and treating patients with various injuries or conditions affecting the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient consultations to evaluate medical history and current health status.
- Order and analyze diagnostic tests, including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans.
- Formulate and execute treatment plans for Orthopaedic patients, encompassing both surgical and non-surgical methods.
- Perform surgical interventions on the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder.
- Monitor patient recovery and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an Orthopaedic Surgery residency program.
- Board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery.
- Fellowship training in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery.
- Possession of a valid medical license with the capability to obtain a Pennsylvania license.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

About Us
Our organization has proudly operated as a physician-owned and managed practice for nearly 46 years, delivering a comprehensive range of musculoskeletal care to our community. We empower each physician with the autonomy to develop their practice while working alongside a diverse team of specialists to address all patient needs under one roof.
Join our dedicated team of 10 fellowship-trained orthopaedic physicians and 17 skilled physician assistants. We also employ 22 Physical Therapists and 4 Occupational/Certified Hand Therapists, providing extensive outpatient rehabilitation services, including aquatic therapy. Our staff includes an Orthotist for brace and orthotic fittings, as well as an on-site specialist for EMG/Nerve Conduction Studies. We offer office-based ultrasound, X-ray services, and Platelet Rich Plasma Injection Therapy, among other treatments. Our walk-in Ortho Urgent Care Centers cater to emergency visits and direct referrals, with five locations in the Pittsburgh suburbs.
Position Details
Due to our practice's growth, we are eager to welcome a hand/shoulder/upper extremity orthopaedic surgeon to our busy practice in 2026. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional patient-centered care, contribute to practice expansion, and work collaboratively within our team. An interest in providing general orthopaedic care is preferred. As an independent practice, we accept all major insurances and maintain a favorable payer mix. Our practice is primarily elective, with minimal on-call emergency responsibilities and no level I trauma. The call schedule is 1:9, offering excellent hours and competitive benefits.
Qualifications Recap
- Fellowship trained in Hand and Upper Extremity.
- Board certified or eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery.
- Ability to secure a Pennsylvania state medical license.
