The RN Director of Nursing is responsible for clinical and operational functions of the assisted living residence to include managing and determining appropriate human and financial resources to further the organization's goals. Maintain compliance with current county, state and federal regulations affecting home health care. 7) Actively participate in agency-wide activities and its continuous quality improvement program. Responsible for evaluating the home care program's level of excellence and implementing process improvement strategies as indicated. 9) Perform other functions as deemed appropriate by the Executive Director or Regional Manager of Operations. 10) Market the wide range of health care services to potential clients and their families. Assist with/support marketing strategies to achieve financial stability through maximum census. Network with other community providers. 11) Develop and maintain relationships with third parties such as county social workers, hospital discharge planners and others to assist in quality care and referral issues. Network with other community providers. Fiscal Responsibility 12) Participate in the annual clinical budgeting process and work with the Executive Director in developing new and creative ways
QUALIFICATIONS: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota. Public Health Nurse Certificate and bachelor's degree in nursing, preferred. Minimum of five years' experience in nursing, preferably in an Assisted Living and/or home health care. Prior supervisory/management experience.
