We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Assistant to join our team in our women's Residential Treatment Program (Marty Mann). In this role, you will work with a skilled clinical team consisting of Licensed Alcohol &amp; Drug Counselors, Nursing staff, a Clinical Pharmacist, and Patient Navigators to provide high-quality care to residents, assisting with daily operations and fostering a safe, therapeutic environment. Key responsibilities include monitoring resident progress, ensuring group participation, maintaining records, and providing emotional support. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for helping others, and a commitment to promoting recovery and wellness.

Summary:
This individual will work closely with the treatment team to ensure patient needs are identified and met appropriately. This individual will ensure the comfort and safety of the patients. This individual will assist in the daily care of the patients in the program. Will also assist in training of clinical assistants and maintaining other needs of the program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Complete paperwork related to admissions or discharging patients.</li>
<li>Observe/monitor patients to detect behavior patterns and problems; intervene as necessary to maintain a safe and orderly facility; and report observations to appropriate staff.</li>
<li>Perform vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respirations, etc.) on patient as instructed.</li>
<li>Respond to crises and emergencies as trained and outlined in policy and procedure, including notifying the appropriate supervisor.</li>
<li>Document what happened during a shift, including behaviors or conflicts, in appropriate logs.</li>
<li>Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.</li>
<li>Administer or monitor medications, as trained and certified by the RN Supervisor.</li>
<li>Perform light housekeeping and transportation duties.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>

Required Experience:
<ul>
<li>Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.</li>
<li>Must be 18 years of age or older.</li>
<li>Must have or obtain CPR &amp; First Aid certification before direct patient contact.</li>

We are seeking two additional Evening Registered Nurses to enhance our Detox and Withdrawal Management program.
These positions are designed to provide additional support to our teams, ensuring a balanced workload and improved patient care. As an RN in our program, you will deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to individuals experiencing addiction challenges. Summary:
This individual performs medical administration for patients of the Center of Alcohol and Drug Treatment. Oversee medical care of patients and promote optimal health and refer patients needing a higher level of care. Manage difficult patients and oversee LPNs and other support staff as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Obtain and accurately document a relevant health history from patients; perform a Comprehensive physical and mental health assessment.</li>
<li>Identify medical and mental health problems and develop/implement a plan of care to minimize complications and promote optimal health. Immediately refer patients needing a higher level of care to appropriate facilities.</li>
<li>Counsel patients and use the therapeutic relationship to promote health.</li>
<li>Teach/coach patients and family members to impart knowledge and associated skills.</li>
<li>Collaborate as a member of the interdisciplinary team.</li>
<li>Appropriately implement protocols and order. Review licensed practitioner orders, monitor documentation, and ensure enforcement of rules and regulations, including staffing requirements.</li>
<li>Monitor and ensure the quality of healthcare practices, including agency policies and procedures, documentation, and professional and licensing standards of care.</li>
<li>Provide and direct healthcare of patients, including supervision of the nursing care.</li>
<li>Review medication use and assure staff follows the medication control policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Assist the Licensed Practitioner with history and physicals.</li>
</ul>
Establish and implement procedures for the provision of nursing care and delegated medical care, including:
<ul>
<li>a health monitoring plan;</li>
<li>a medication control plan;</li>
<li>training and competency evaluations for staff performing delegated medical and nursing functions;</li>
<li>handling serious illness, accident, or injury to patients;</li>
<li>an infection control program; and</li>
<li>a first aid kit;</li>
<li>delegating nursing functions to other staff consistent with their education, competence, and legal authorization;</li>
<li>assigning, supervising, and evaluating the performance of nursing tasks; and</li>
<li>implementing condition-specific protocols in compliance with section 151.37, subdivision 2.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>This individual must have a certificate in nursing from a college or technical school.</li>
<li>Must be a current Registered Nurse certified by the Minnesota Board of Nursing</li>
<li>Must be CPR and First Aid certified or obtain it before direct patient contact.</li>
<li>Must pass background studies issued by the Minnesota Department of Human Services.</li>
<li>Must know and understand the requirements of 245F, sections 245A.65, 253B.04, 253B.051, 626.557, and 626.5572, and chapter 260E.</li>
</ul>
Hours: This position is designated for the 2nd shift, 2:45pm-11:00pm with weekend rotations.
