Job Summary and Qualifications
Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. Regulates the equipment used to expose the x-ray image, knows how to operate the CR unit and sends the image to PACS for verification. Assists in the daily operation of the Radiology Department. We are currently seeking a Florida-licensed&nbsp;CT Technologist on a full-time/part-time/PRN/per diem/as-needed basis. As a CT Technologist, you will be competent in all of the following: brain, total spine, facial, sinus, orbits, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, upper/lower extremities, sella, and biopsies. <li>Check the operation of the equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases and keep room stocked with linens and necessary supplies</li>

Qualifications

<li>Completion of a 2-year/Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology at an accredited, AMA-approved institution, to include hospital training</li>

What you will do in this role:&nbsp;

<li>You manage processing and documentation including developing film, making hard copy images, documenting tests, and ensuring department records, reports and files are correct&nbsp;</li>

What Qualifications you will need:&nbsp;

<li>Current ARRT or ARDMS license is required.&nbsp;</li>
