Location: Asheville, NC 28801
Duration: 8 Weeks
Schedule: Mon–Thu: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Fri: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a reliable Medical Assistant to support front and back office operations in a fast-paced clinical setting. This role involves patient care, clinical procedures, and administrative duties to ensure smooth workflow and quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Room patients, take/document vital signs
- Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, POC testing, and assist with procedures
- Administer vaccines
- Schedule appointments, manage calls, and update EMR records
- Assist providers and maintain exam room readiness
- Support patient flow, education, and overall patient experience
Qualifications
- 1+ year Medical Assistant experience (2–3 years preferred)
- Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required
- EMR experience
- Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
Preferred
- Medical Assistant Certification
- Occupational Health experience
