Job DescriptionSUMMARY Community Resource Center provides assessments, programming, employment, cognitive behavioral therapy, supportive services and social services referrals for adult male and female adult offenders under the supervision of the New Jersey State Parole Board in the counties of Mercer, Burlington and Hunterdon Counties. Services include, but are not limited to: intake/orientation, assessments, treatment planning, offender supervision, educational services, vocational/employment services, substance abuse education and referrals to licensed treatment providers, community service, independent living skills, family counseling, mental health assessments and referrals, nutrition/meals, transportation and discharge planning. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to: The successful candidate shall report to the Program Supervisor. The responsibilities are providing direct supervision to case manager and ensuring clients receive appropriate services based on assessed need, and supports the overall service component of the program, ensures the provision of treatment program. &nbsp;

<li>Provide overall direction and coordination of programs for Clients assigned to the New Jersey Association on Correction. <li>Responsible for monitoring resident parolees’ progress and making recommendations to the Case Manager, assigned NJSPB representative and the resident parolee whenever corrective measures are indicated; and </li>
<li>Responsible for monitoring the methodologies and procedures governing casework documentation and for ensuring that resident parolees are working in compliance with their individualized service plans. </li>

Additional job-related skills include: working with addictive personalities; a basic understanding of human behavior; and utilizing group dynamics to address special needs populations. Effective written and verbal communication skills and an ability to interact appropriately with clientele is important. A thorough working knowledge of social learning theory, cognitive-behavioral intervention and approaches, assessment and evaluation, willingness to work flexible hours, which may include weekends and evenings, and demonstrated competencies in training, group interaction, and mentoring is required. JOB SUMMARY
The Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive care to children from birth through young adulthood (ages 0-21). This role is responsible for examining, diagnosing, and treating patients with acute injuries, infections, and illnesses while ensuring compassionate, family-centered care.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
 - Collaborates with team members to examine and treat pediatric patients.
 - Performs assessment and treatment of acute injuries, infections, illnesses, and asthma care. 
- Provides minor laceration repair with adhesive or sutures; removes staples and sutures.
 - Provides preliminary interpretation of x-rays with radiology over-read. 
- Orders, prescribes, and interprets appropriate lab tests. 
- Maintains accurate medical records of professional services rendered. 
- Prepares and reviews reports, claims, and correspondence in compliance with Federal and State regulations. 
- Provides telemedicine services to pediatric patients as needed. 
- Prescribes appropriate medications and treatment plans. 
- Recommends preventive health practices and lifestyle guidance. 
- Refers patients to specialists or other providers when appropriate. 
- Stays current on pediatric advancements by attending seminars and continuing education. 
- Consistently demonstrates dignity, respect, and professionalism toward co-workers, patients, vendors, and visitors. 
- Provides excellent customer service to patients and staff. 
- Delivers compassionate, family-centered care.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position has no direct reports but may supervise the activities of other staff to ensure tasks are completed promptly and patients receive the best possible care.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

<li>Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program</li>
<li>Minimum 2 years of related experience required</li>
<li>Active Board of Nursing certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP-BC/FNP-BC)</li>
<li>Masters or Doctorate degree from an accredited nursing program</li>
<li>Active RN and PNP licensure in Alabama with board certification as a NP in Pediatric Acute Care, Pediatric Primary Care, or Family Care</li>
<li>2+ years experience providing care as a Nurse Practitioner</li>
<li>Strong acute care clinical background preferred, but not required</li>
<li>BLS certification required</li>
<li>Knowledge of urgent care procedures</li>
<li>Evidence-based quality care delivery</li>
<li>Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills</li>
<li>Knowledge of OSHA and CLIA guidelines and confidentiality requirements</li>
<li>Current knowledge of pediatric medications and side effects</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)</li>
<li>Proficiency with EMR systems, MS Windows, and Microsoft Office 365</li>
<li>Ability to delegate, make sound clinical judgments, and prioritize patient safety</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li>
<li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced urgent care environment</li>
