<li>Provide tube feeding treatments and other skilled nursing treatments such as wound care, respiratory treatments, etc. for the individual served. Follow MAR and Physician orders.</li>
<li>Review the quality and quantity of health-related documentation upon arrival to the work site, assuring that the previous shift nurse has documented properly and alerting the Medical Program Coordinator if there are deficiencies in any nurses documentation.</li>
<li>Generate and route incident reports to Evergreen management as needed.</li>
<li>Compile medication error reports and route to the Medical Program Coordinator no later than the next day following incident.</li>
<li>File health related documents in the individuals served health records in the home.</li>
<li>Route all expired and discontinued medications to the Medical Program Coordinator for disposal.</li>
<li>Assist with reviewing and double-checking the MARS at the beginning of the month, checking for corrections, placing reasons for meds, times and other pertinent information on the MAR., etc.</li>
<li>Attend appropriate in-services and staff meetings as directed.</li>
<li>Become familiar with and comply with state and federal regulations as they pertain to the job position and work environment. Cooperate with state survey teams and other state officials as requested and as applicable.</li>
<li>Report concerns of client abuse, neglect and mistreatment immediately and according to protocol.</li>

<li>May perform venipuncture, ensuring accurate and safe collection of blood samples.</li>
<li>Performs related duties as required.</li>
<li>Uses EMR to record all patient information to include: </li>
</ul>

<li>Phone messages, med refills, general questions, and form completion, etc. as generated in the EMR as a Patient Case.</li>
<li>Tracking Referrals in EMR through Referral Management.</li>
<li>Open chart from provider schedule to initiate patient visit. </li>
<li>Record vitals, history, medications, etc. as pertaining to patient visit. </li>
<li>Implement orders in the EMR plan for immunizations, lab, x-ray, and other procedures as needed. </li>
<li>Insure accurate coding and billing in the EHR superbill. </li>
<li>Ensure provider has met Meaningful Use initiatives as required to meet federal guidelines. </li>
<li>Performs patient outreach for value-based initiatives and patient optimization programs.</li>
</ol>
<ul>
<li>Utilize Florida Shots, Availity and other programs as needed for patient care. </li>
<li>Must read and respond to email daily, and in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Must attend all department meetings, and clinic required meetings.</li>
<li>Regular and reliable attendance is required. </li>

Education/Experience:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing 
One year of professional nursing experience in a clinic setting preferred. 
Possession of a State LPN Nurse license.
Current CPR certification required.
IV Certification preferred.
Supervisory Duties:
This position has no direct reports.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position in an outpatient medical business office setting. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm. Based on business need, the ability to work a flexible schedule, including some overtime as approved in advance.
