<li>Transport clients for admission, discharge, medical appointment, etc. &nbsp;</li>
<li>Provide orientation to new clients, check in personal property and perform luggage searches</li>
<li>Provide for the safety of the clients by making rounds including all areas described in the Program Abuse Prevention Plan and overnight bed checks</li>
<li>Interact with clients whenever possible</li>
<li>Attend shift change report and department meetings</li>
<li>Assist with the admissions and discharge process</li>
<li>Chart interaction with clients and observations made in client’s record through electronic charting system</li>
<li>Attend staff meetings and In-service trainings, as required</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned </li>
</ul>
Required Skills
<ul>
<li>Must be 21 years of age or older</li>
<li>Prior work experience in a residential treatment center environment helpful, but not required </li>
<li>CPR and first aid certified - preferred, not required</li>
<li>Ability to work independently</li>
<li>Possess a valid driver's license</li>
<li>The ability to drive a vehicle continuously for up to three hours</li>
<li>The ability to lift and move objects weighing a minimum of 25 pounds</li>
<li>Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal communication skills</li>
