2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 2 PM - 10 PM; Overtime Required: 2 PM - midnight (Weekends Required when business dictates)

Position Summary:
The General Laborer/Material Handler is responsible for supporting production operations by maintaining the efficient flow of materials throughout the shop. This role ensures that materials are properly staged, transported, and available to support uninterrupted production activities. The position is critical to maintaining organization, efficiency, and workflow continuity within the production environment.
Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
- Safely move, load, and unload materials in the shop using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of material inventory and ensure supplies are properly stocked for daily production needs.
- Collaborate with production and logistics teams to stage materials for fabrication and shipping.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining a clean, orderly work environment in storage and production areas.
- Follow safety protocols, including proper handling and storage of hazardous materials.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of equipment used for material handling.
- Identify and report any material shortages, damaged goods, or discrepancies in orders. Other Tasks Assigned

Requirements:
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
- Forklift certification is a plus (or ability to obtain certification upon hiring).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read and understand production orders.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) and perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Work in varying environments including hot, cold, or noisy conditions.
- Use of PPE and adherence to all safety standards required.
