How You Will Make an Impact

A Truck Installation Technician at Reading Truck works under the direction of the Shop Supervisor to complete the installation of specialty truck equipment such as service utility bodies, stake bodies, dump bodies, hitches, and other commercial truck accessories.
The Nuts and Bolts
<ul>
<li>Follow safety rules and comply with all PPE requirements.</li>
<li>Install truck bodies, plows, commercial truck accessories</li>
<li>Mount hitches, shelves, drawers, ladder racks, mud flaps, etc.</li>
<li>Basic weld experience (helpful)</li>
<li>Train with other mechanics as needed</li>
<li>Other duties assigned by Supervisor/Manager</li>
</ul>
Required Credentials
<ul>
<li>Basic mechanical knowledge</li>
<li>Basic welding skills, electrical wiring, hydraulics, etc.</li>
<li>Ability to operate power hand tools (and have basic tools)</li>

Truck Installation Technician

Job Position: Maintenance/Groundskeepers Full or Part Time for Conestoga Valley School District
Location: Leola, PA 17540
Pay Rate: $18.38 Per Hour with Benefits
Shift: Both positions are Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM ( part time works any 4 hour shift between 6:00 AM and 2:30 PM)
Description: Groundskeeper needed Full Time or Part time at Conestoga Valley School district. Essential functions include cut grass, repair damaged lawns, prune tress and shrubs. Rake &amp; Remove fallen leaves. Water lawns, shrubs, and flower beds. Removes snow using snow removal equipment or shovel. Keep drain ditches free of obstructions. May lay out and tend to flower beds. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on gardening and grounds equipment. Maintains &amp; organizes tools, equipment, supplies and vehicles. Keep shop neat and orderly. Marks and paints athletic fields. May assist with building and parking security. Knowledge of turf care, tree/shrub pruning and removal and capable snow removal and grounds clean up operations. Employer paid clearances. Part time may work any 4 hour shift between 6:00 AM &amp; 2:30 PM

Maintenance / Groundskeeper

The Staff Pad has partnered with an established and rapidly growing Trucking Company and we are looking to hire Service Techs in multiple locations. POSITION DESCRIPTION: In a retail dealership environment,conduct diesel equipment repairs and preventive maintenance requirements;correcting vehicle deficiencies; make adjustments and alignments.
 
HLAs – HIGH LEVERAGE ACTIVITIES (focus actions that willreturn the highest impact):
1. Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspectionsand diagnostic test; identifying worn and damaged parts focusing on safety,quality and customer up time.
2. Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing,adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing majorassemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power anddrive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering,hydraulics; completes machine shop operations; making adjustments andalignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms,governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units.
3. Embrace training opportunities maintaining certificationin OEM products. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND
PERFORMANCE MEASURES:
• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.Including trouble shooting, electrical and diagnostic services.
• Read Repair Order, observe and listen to vehicle inoperation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.
• Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, enginesand components.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
• Install injectors, pistons, liners, cam shafts, cylinderheads, rod and main bearings, oil pans, clutches, fan hubs, differentials,fifth wheels, brakes, change or recharge batteries, and replace transmissionsand other parts.
• Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and specifiedsafety devices on trucks, and adjust as needed.
• Lubricate moving parts and drive repaired vehicle toverify conformance to specifications.
• Advise the Service Manager if additional repair work isnecessary.
• Tag all warranty parts and returns to warranty clerk.
• Maintain a neat and orderly working area, and properhandling of company tools.
• Follow safe work practices and procedures, uses safetyequipment when required, responds to suggestions for working safely and seeksassistance when necessary.
• Attend training classes and keep abreast of factorytechnical bulletins.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
 
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• High school diploma or GED is required. Combination ofeducation, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge,skills, and abilities will be considered.
• Related technical school training preferred. POSITIONPROFILE Allegiance Trucks Position Profile
• Three to five years of commercial truck technical serviceexperience.
• Engine certifications preferred: Cummins, Detroit,International, etc.
• Necessary tools to perform job responsibilities.
• Ability to work and learn independently.

• Ability to use various windows based computer software.Experience with engine software a plus.
• Valid commercial driver’s license preferred.
 
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
Duties are performed throughout the inside and outside ofthe building(s). Employee is exposed to dirt, dust, heat, cold, noise andvibration, fumes and odors, wetness and humidity, and sometimes darkness.Employee is required to stand, walk, kneel, squat, crawl, bend, and twist.Employee may have to climb and/or lift up to and over 80 pounds frequently.Visual requirements are constant. Specific vision abilities required by thisjob include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Due to the nature ofthe environment, employee is exposed to potential mechanical, chemical,electrical and fire hazards on a regular basis.
