The Role
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to help us scale, maintain, and improve the infrastructure that powers our healthcare platform. This is a hands-on role where you will contribute to infrastructure reliability, developer experience, and platform security within a highly regulated environment. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers while gaining exposure to a modern DevOps toolset, including ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, and Kubernetes.
In this role, you will be key in enabling fast, secure, and cost-effective software delivery, helping us transform the future of food allergy treatment.
What You'll Do
<ul>
<li>Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).</li>
<li>Deploy and manage containerized applications with Kubernetes (GKE).</li>
<li>Collaborate with developers to improve internal tooling and developer experience.</li>
<li>Drive cloud cost visibility and optimization (GCP, KubeCost).</li>
<li>Participate in incident response.</li>
<li>Monitor system health and maintain observability tooling.</li>
<li>Write and maintain clear documentation and runbooks.</li>
<li>Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.</li>
<li>Contribute to the modernization of legacy infrastructure stacks.</li>
<li>Ensure scalable, secure architecture in GCP</li>
</ul>
Minimum Qualifications
<ul>
<li>7–8 years of experience with cloud-based infrastructure (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure a plus).</li>
<li>5+ years of hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (ideally GKE) in production environments.</li>
<li>Expertise in designing and implementing security and compliance best practices across cloud infrastructure (CI/CD, Kubernetes, networking, RDBMS, Redis/Memorystore, GCS/S3, etc.).</li>
<li>Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python or similar).</li>
<li>Strong troubleshooting skills using observability tools (DataDog, ELK stack, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.).</li>
<li>Experience with IaC tools (Terraform), secrets management, and Git-based workflows (GitHub/GitLab).</li>
<li>Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.</li>
</ul>
Nice to Have
<ul>
<li>Experience in startups or other fast-paced environments.</li>
<li>Familiarity with our stack: React, Kubernetes/GKE, GCP, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions.</li>
<li>Experience in highly regulated industries like healthcare.</li>
