Job DescriptionAutomotive Detailer.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dependable and motivated Automotive Detailer to join our team. If you take pride in your work, enjoy working with vehicles, and have a strong attention to detail, we'd love to meet you. Experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly clean and detail the interior and exterior of vehicles.
- Vacuum and shampoo carpets, upholstery, and floor mats.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and all glass surfaces.
- Apply wax, polish, and protective coatings to maintain vehicle appearance.
- Remove dirt, dust, and debris from all vehicle surfaces.
- Inspect vehicles for damage or defects and report any issues to management.
- Pick up and deliver parts between our dealership and other local dealerships.
- Drive to our sister store each morning to retrieve needed parts.
- Maintain the appearance of the dealership lot, including basic lawn care.
- Shuttle customers to and from requested destinations while their vehicle is being serviced.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of new and used vehicle inventory.
- Place stock documentation in vehicles as directed.
- Move vehicles around the lot as instructed by the Service Manager and according to dealership standards.
- Keep the dealership clean by emptying trash, tidying service bays, cleaning driveways and sidewalks, and removing snow or debris when necessary.
- Fuel new and used vehicles as directed by management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (Required).
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance.
- Previous detailing or car wash experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to safely operate vehicles and perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Requirements:
- Must maintain a neat and professional appearance.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
