Educating and guiding customers is the most important piece for you to make the sale, they need to feel how much we know about our product! Educating them about the products we offer (vinyl, counter-tops, wpc, carpet, laminate, engineered wood) and explaining why we don't work certain products. Educating them on anything else they may be interested in learning; guiding them through our samples so they can find the best product based on what is important to them.&nbsp;
Jobs: Scheduling measurement, taking an accurate measurement of the current project and any future projects with the Ipad. Finalize it in the home to prevent any lapse in communication. make sure the customer signs the invoice and we collect the down payment, which should be 75% of the invoice total, either by check, credit card or financed (in case of credit card, signature is needed in the slip, if financed signature is need in the agreement).

Responsibilities:
The Catering Sales Manager negotiates, books, and services all social catering events.

<li>Negotiates and finalizes contract and banquet event orders by meeting with clients</li>
<li>Research competing properties, prospects, and network to surface business</li>
<li>Develop effective sales strategies to counter the competition</li>
<li>Stay abreast of local events</li>
<li>Conduct site visits</li>
<li>Prepare proposals tailored to address and impress the client</li>
<li>Sell to fill the need dates</li>
<li>Identify and secure business to fit the yield strategy</li>
<li>Attain/exceed sales goals and profitability</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, marketing, business, or related field from a four-year college or university, or High school diploma or GED plus 2 years sales-related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the above skills, knowledge, and ability</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of catering sales and a passion for selling</li>
