As we launch our new hospice program in Billings, we're looking for caring Hospice Aides who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families.
Position Summary
Everwind Hospice is seeking a compassionate PRN Hospice Aide (CNA) to provide personal care and supportive services to hospice patients in their homes, assisted living communities, and skilled nursing facilities. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and as part of an interdisciplinary team, you will help promote comfort, dignity, and quality of life for patients facing a life-limiting illness.
Key Responsibilities

Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting, skin care, and mobility assistance.

Assist patients with activities of daily living while promoting comfort, independence, and dignity.

Observe and report changes in patients' physical, emotional, or environmental conditions to the supervising nurse.

Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.

Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.

Document care provided accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.

Follow the individualized plan of care and hospice philosophy, focusing on comfort, quality of life, and patient choice.

Communicate effectively with members of the interdisciplinary hospice team.
Qualifications

Current Montana Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.

Minimum of one year of CNA experience required; hospice, home health, long-term care, or palliative care experience preferred.

Current CPR certification preferred.

Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently while providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
