\n Oversees patient care activities as well as operational activities for assigned facility. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned. \n

\nMINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing\n
\n
\nPREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in Nursing\n
\n
\nMINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 3 years nursing experience. Leadership and management abilities.\n
\n
\nREQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse\n
\n
\nREQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): BLS-Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network. Non-Violent Crisis Intervention within 1 year of date of hire or transfer date into position\n
\n
\nPREFERRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS: ACLS\n
