We are hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep our production equipment and facility systems running safely and efficiently. If you're a hands-on troubleshooter who thrives on solving mechanical and electrical problems in a fast-paced plant environment, we want to hear from you.
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and troubleshooting of production machinery and facility infrastructure — playing a critical role in minimizing downtime and keeping operations moving.
- Shift: AM or PM
- Location: San Antonio, TX
- Pay $26-$31+per hour, based on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on plant equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, motors, conveyors, pumps, and other industrial control systems.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals to guide repairs.
- Perform routine inspections and equipment checks to identify issues before failures occur.
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and parts/inventory records.
- Follow all OSHA regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and company safety protocols.
- Collaborate with production supervisors and operators to schedule maintenance around production needs.
Requirements
- 2+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
- High school diploma or GED; technical/trade school certification a plus.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with PLCs, motor controls, or industrial automation preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders.
- Comfortable working in a plant environment (noise, heat, moving machinery).
- Must provide and wear required PPE, including steel-toe boots.
