Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Current School Psychologist certification or eligibility required
  • Experience working in school settings preferred
  • Strong skills in assessment, consultation, and intervention strategies
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a full-time psychologist, educational staff, and families
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Commitment to in-person work and student-centered practice

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify the needs of students (serving approximately 200 identified students) through formal and informal evaluation tools
  • Collaborate with the existing full-time psychologist and larger school team on the development and implementation of interventions and support plans
  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions as needed
  • Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multi-disciplinary team meetings
  • Offer consultation and guidance to teachers, administrators, and families regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as necessary
