Make a positive impact supporting K-8 students at a single school location near Philadelphia! This full-time contract opportunity is perfect for paraprofessionals passionate about helping young learners thrive from August through June 2027.
In this role, you'll work Monday through Friday, 32.5 hours per week, providing essential classroom and individualized support. Your days will be spent assisting teachers, guiding students academically and socially, and fostering a welcoming environment for all learners.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar support role within an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Patience, reliability, and a genuine desire to help children succeed.
- Commitment to working the entire assignment from August start through June 2027.
- Availability to work onsite at one school location serving K-8 students.
- Education/certifications related to child development or education are a plus.
What you’ll do:
- Support teachers with classroom activities, lessons, and student engagement.
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with students who need extra help.
- Assist with daily routines, transitions, and positive behavior strategies.
- Contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Communicate effectively with team members and school staff.
Candidates will be compensated at $20–$22 per hour, depending on experience, education, and certifications.
