TENURE-TRACK PROFESSOR IN AFRO-LATIN AMERICAN STUDIES

The Center for Research on Race and Ethnicity in Society (CRRES) at Indiana University, Bloomington, invites applications for up to two <a href="https://crres.indiana.edu/programs/postdoctoral-fellowships/index.html" target="_blank">CRRES Postdoctoral Fellowships</a>. These fellowships provide support to scholars studying race and ethnicity from a broad range of fields in the social sciences and humanities, including education, criminal justice, environmental studies, international studies (e.g., climate, human rights, and development), gender/sexualities, public health, and media (e.g., consumer culture, game design, film, social media activism, and sports media). We are particularly interested in candidates whose research intersects with African American and African Diaspora Studies, Native and Indigenous Studies, Latino Studies, Asian American Studies, African Studies, Latin American Studies, and/or Global Indigenous Studies. The University Honors College and the Department of Political Science at Portland State University seek a Teaching Assistant Professor with a focus in Law and Courts with a strong commitment to undergraduate education. Teaching Assistant Professor of Honors & Political Science 

The Assistant Director (AD) for Residential Education reports to the Associate Director for Residential Education and is responsible for oversight and leadership of 2-4 residentially-based Learning Communities (LCs) that house between 1300 to 1900 students (roughly one-third of the on-campus population). The responsibilities of this position include training, supervision, development, and evaluation of 2-3 frontline full-time professional staff members (including Area Coordinators and/or Residence Directors) and 1 Graduate Coordinator. As a member of the Residential Education Leadership Team, the AD is responsible for overseeing the administrative and management functions of their Campus Area, as well as assisting in the development of policies and procedures for the department. We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Director of Marketing and Communications to lead the development and execution of our School of Social Work's marketing efforts. In this role, you will work collaboratively to create and implement integrated marketing plans that are focused on our target audience. Your responsibilities will include developing compelling marketing content for various channels, coordinating visual design and brand standards, and utilizing both digital and print mediums to drive student enrollment. Director of Marketing and Communications

The Department of Public Administration, in the School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA) at North Carolina State University (NC State), invites applications from highly-qualified candidates for two (2) tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor level, beginning August 2024. We seek applicants from a variety of fields within Public Administration, Public Policy, Public Affairs, or related social science disciplines whose research and teaching interests represent expertise in Nonprofits, State and Local Government, or Science and Technology Policy, with a preference for candidates who demonstrate some degree of overlap among areas and applicants engaging in rigorous and innovative research methodologies. &nbsp; Teaching responsibilities for both tenure-track positions will include graduate-level courses related to core offerings in the program and electives related to the areas of particular expertise of the selected candidate. The expected teaching load is two courses per semester (2-2 load), with the option of summer teaching. The successful candidate will also advise and mentor graduate students, which includes service on doctoral student committees. The MPA program’s mission serves pre- and in-service students, with most courses offered face-to-face in the evenings, although hybrid and online courses are also available. Ph.D. seminars are cohort-based and delivered on campus.
