The Registered Nurse (RN) in Medical Infusion provides safe, high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced ambulatory infusion setting. The RN independently manages adult and pediatric patients receiving a broad range of non-oncology intravenous and injectable therapies, including biologic medications, IVIG, immunotherapies, specialty infusions, hydration, blood products, and other complex treatment regimens. The Medical Infusion RN is responsible for comprehensive nursing assessment, review of treatment plans and required clinical parameters, medication administration, ongoing patient monitoring, management of infusion/injection-related reactions, patient education, care coordination, and accurate clinical documentation. The RN serves as a critical member of the interdisciplinary team and plays an essential role in ensuring safe treatment delivery, timely access to care, effective patient flow, and a positive patient experience. Previous experience with infusion and strong IV placement/management skills required.
