Job Description

Job Description

Exciting opportunities are available for dedicated behavior support professionals seeking meaningful contract work supporting K-12 students in a collaborative and innovative environment. This position offers the chance to join a dynamic team of paraprofessionals, behavior specialists, RBTs, and ABA providers, contributing directly to an evolving behavior program across four buildings.

The school district is embarking on rebuilding its comprehensive behavior support program for the 2026-2027 school year, including several exciting pilot initiatives. With guidance from a newly appointed district BCBA and a preference for external BCBA supervision for RBTs, this is an exceptional opportunity for passionate specialists interested in developing best practices and fostering positive outcomes for students.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience as a paraprofessional, behavior specialist, RBT, or in ABA support roles in educational settings
  • Strong commitment to supporting students with diverse behavioral and learning needs
  • Familiarity with behavior intervention planning and data collection
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with educational teams, families, and supervisors
  • RBT credential or similar experience preferred; those working toward certification are encouraged
  • Ability to commit for the full contract period (August 26, 2026 – June 14, 2027), 35–37.5 hours per week

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct behavior support to K-12 students, implementing individualized and group interventions
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and BCBA supervisors across four school buildings
  • Participate in staff training, planning, and pilot projects as part of the program’s strategic growth
  • Collect, monitor, and report behavioral data to assist in ongoing program evaluation
  • Foster a positive, encouraging environment for student learning and growth

Take advantage of this rewarding chance to help shape the future of behavioral supports in schools. Make a genuine impact in students’ lives as part of a forward-thinking, supportive team. If you’re passionate about behavior support and eager to contribute to innovative projects, please apply today!

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.86 to $29.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
