Job Description Polyethylene Piping Fabrication Specialist
Location: Houston, TX 77048
Pay: $18–$20 per hour
Schedule: 5:00 PM–3:30 AM (train on first shift for 1–3 months)
Duration: Temp to Hire
A day in this role
As your evening shift begins, you’ll open the day’s pick tickets, review blueprints and product drawings, and stage materials, tools, and equipment. From there, you’ll transform plans into precisely built assemblies—working with polyethylene piping and components to create reliable systems that meet exact customer specifications.
What you’ll build
- Polyethylene piping systems and assemblies
- Fittings, valves, T’s, Y’s, and elbows
- Aqua shields, geothermal vaults, and manholes
- Dual containment units
- Pumps and gas aeration lines
How you’ll do it
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and pick ticket orders to determine required materials, tools, and equipment
- Fabricate and assemble components into finished polyethylene systems
- Follow established quality control procedures to verify every finished product meets customer specifications
What you’ll bring
- Prior fabrication or manufacturing experience (preferred)
- Ability to read and understand blueprints/technical drawings
- Basic computer proficiency
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
