Job DescriptionSalary:
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- General cleaning duties, such as blowing down designated areas,sweeping and discarding foreign material into a tip bin for disposal, shoveling, etc.
- Cleaning on a scissor lift and sky jack (will train employees in proper procedure)
- Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Carrying out heavy cleaning tasks and cleaning up after production processes
- Working with air pressure equipment
- Notifying management of any issues or repairs needed
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Other cleaning duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Working with heights/Fall Training (willing to train)
- Experience operating Elevated Work Platforms (willing to train)
- Forklift License ideal (willing to train)
- Excellent attendance & punctuality
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Fast learner who is able to follow instructions
- Ability to stand for long periods of time up to 12 hours
- Ability to work with minimum or no supervision
- Previous experience as an industrial cleaner is an asset
